Brooke Goes to ‘Intermission’

What is more dramatic than theater….fashion. What the energy of a Measure Magazine shoot really is explained by journalist Brooke Mahoney

By Brooke Mahoney

The sun shines bright as we file into the peacefully quiet Murray Student Center on a sweet Sunday morning. While most of the college remains asleep, we set up camp in the Nelly Goletti. The velvet red audience seats are now the stage of our scene. From a college auditorium to a regal old-school theatre, Measure catches a glimpse of how artists and socialites from every corner of the fashion scene spend their 15-minute intermission.

Models pose throughout the theater in one of a kind gowns and suits. Some of the most embellished and extravagant pieces have been chosen for this shoot causing a mood of old timely allure and elegance to grace the shoot. Designers, makeup artists, and assistance pop in and out of set creating a picture perfect scene for the photographer to capture. Everyones true talents shine in the theater.
